XCON is Bluebeam’s annual user conference that hosts around 1,000 attendees. For the 2019 conference held in Washington DC, I lead the design of all motion graphics. Working closely with our art director, I helped develop a branding system that would work across all our mediums: social media promotions, the conference website, large print pieces for the event spaces, and videos and animations played during presentations and events.

Video

During the conference all video content was played in the 1,000+ seat main ballroom. Designing content to work well simultaneously across several screens at such a large size was a very rewarding challenge.

One of the programs during the conference is an awards show that celebrates customers' achievements. This year I had the opportunity to create a fully animated intro video for this show.

The entire conference team likes to set an appropriate mood to kick off the three day event. I worked with our team's editors to create this video which played before the conference keynote presentation.

Each of our keynote speakers needed an intro to play while they made their way on stage.

Web

For both the Homepage and the Agenda page I made an animation for the header. I aimed to make the movements both interesting and gentle enough that they wouldn't be distracting while browsing the page.

Our 2019 conference site included a page dedicated to helping attendees explore the Washington, D.C. area. I made an animation for each of five points of interest which were played on mouse over.

Print

This year the conference needed more print materials than ever before. I was happy to design some items for this effort and lucky enough to work alongside very talented print designers.
